I am doing things a little differently with this album. I want you folks to hear it as I am writing it. YES!… that will mean free downloads, which will each be attached to a Newsletter. You can hear the album grow as we add each new layer.
I will be explaining, the lyrics, the music and the production, all with links so you can pick and choose your own blend. Below this section will be an individual section for each song. These will grow as the album grows.
Of course there will be a chance to buy the CD - or maybe even the vinyl - when we get to the other side, but you don't have to. Each person enjoys music in their own way and that is cool!

ALBUM OVERVIEW
Reading divisive posts on Social Media, watching the world fall apart on the daily news, tallying up the countries currently at war with each other, has become our daily norm. I talk to people often about this and the phrase ‘What can you do?’ comes up again and again.
If the world really is about to end, then what does it mean to you and I? Do we just buy into the wars of words, and pick a side to ally ourselves with, or is there something else we could do to really make a difference.
The world badly needs a global movement of peace and love, to offset the extreme right wing, with their language of hate and racism. I don't profess this album to be that, but as I am just beginning the process of concept and composition, I am thinking of these big issues. Will our kids say to us, ‘Couldn’t you have done more? So before it's too late, let's ask ourselves that question. Maybe some of the songs will address that issue.
The order that the songs are arranged below will change, as I add new songs and decide where they fit into the whole. I hope you enjoy the process and seeing an album through from it's conception to it's conclusion.

At the End of the World
The lyrics for this song, could describe the world exactly as it is today. The end of the world may never come, but the truth is, it is still just one button push away, and there are a few lunatics in powerful positions who seem to be careless of their actions.
As the lyrics suggest, perhaps the first signs of things going badly wrong may be the same TV shows on endless repeat, and the shopping channel not working!
This will be the last song on the album, which is one reason it is so damn long! For that reason the production will be much bigger with full orchestra making it sound huge. The middle 8 section that talks about 'time' is a reprise of a song not yet written, that will appear much earlier in the album. Yes, my brain does work in a weird jigsaw type of fashion!
